This book brings together a series of situations in which the processes and dynamics in the landscape are of particular interest. The examples coming from a range of sites, both with human interference and without, have been compiled throughout a decade of search and observation, and are presented from the vantage point of planning and management.
Teresa Galí-Izard (Barcelona, 1968) is an agricultural engineer and landscaper. She has been working since 1989 as a designer of private and urban gardens, parks, landscape interventions and nature restorations, as well as in urban planning and management. She is a professor in the Master’s Programme in Landscape Architecture and Environment at the Escuela Técnica Superior in Madrid. She has worked on many collaborative projects with partners such as the architectural studios Ábalos y Herreros, Eduardo Arroyo, Guillermo Vázquez-Consuegra, Batlle y Roig, and FOA.
